Tonight in Washington DC there are two kick-ass metals shows and I'm going to neither. The first includes four bands, but only two I like. They are the Dillinger Escape Plan and Everytime I Die. I kept hemming and hawing because the tickets were $27.50, but now show sold out so I don't have to worry about it anymore. The other show is the sorta local band Misery Index at the Black Cat. These guys are just brutal. Tight as fuck death/grind. This show is only $8 and quite a bargain. I'm skipping out however,as I have to work a long day tomorrow and my mother-in-law is coming into town tomorrow night. Responsibility really takes my show going options away. Don't be lame like me, get down to the Black Cat and get pulverized.
